ROLLER COASTER JOURNEY OF AN ENGINEER’S LIFE!

The Department of Information Technology in association with Directorate of Higher Education(DHE)  organized workshop on “Roller Coaster Journey of an Engineer’s Life” on 22/09/2022 for students of Information Technology.

 The resource person for the talk was Mr.Sanjay Kumar, inventor & creator of SelectorsHub, TestCase Studio, TestCaseHub and ChroPath.He is on a mission to make testers and developers life easy.

During the session students were introduced to SelectorHub. It can be used as smart editor to write and verify xpath, cssSelector, Playwright selectors, jQuery and JS Path. SelectorsHub can also be used to auto generate the unique xpath, css Selector and all possible selectors. 

Mr.Sanjay Kumar also gave indication about how a potential idea can be converted to a startup project and earn revenue from the project. He also emphasized on ways of using “Stack Overflow” and encouraged students to provide solutions to the questions asked on the forum.

Talk was followed by question and answer session during which students actively participated.. The session was informative and helpful for the students.

The workshop was organized by Asst. Professor Ms.Sonia Fernandes and Asst. Professor Mr. Siddesh  Savant from the Department of Information Technology.
