Centre for incubation and Business Acceleration (CIBA) is a Technology Business Incubator supported by “Department of Science and Technology, GoI”. CIBA is also recognized by “Ministry of Medium Small Micro Enterprise, GoI” as the Business Incubator in the state of Goa. As an incubator, we support young aspiring entrepreneurs by helping them develop innovative and entrepreneurial mind-set so that they can come up with ground breaking ideas to touch the lives of millions of people around the world.

Our primary objective is to hand hold these Start-ups during their initial stages by providing them support for Ideation, Prototyping or MVP development, Fund Raising, Networking, Infrastructure, etc.

Since the Inception of CIBA in the year 2012, We have supported more than 140 Startups till date. With 58 of those graduating and successfully setting up their ventures. We have also provided Seed Fund to 18 Startups till date amounting to Rs. 2 Cr. We have also helped our Startups to raise external funding of more than Rs. 42 Crore using our network of investors.

We have two centres in Goa, one in Verna which connected with PCCE in South-Goa and one is in Assagao which is connected with AITD in North-Goa. Having these 2 centres allows us to cater each and every stakeholder of the Goan start-up ecosystem.

In terms of the facilities at CIBA, we have a state-of-the-art infrastructure with Modern Office Spaces, Meeting Rooms, Conference Rooms Etc. We also have fully functioning Rapid Prototyping Lab with 14 3D Printers of various base sizes along with a Fab Lab, called “CIBA FAB Lab” where currently we have Laser Cutter, CNC Vertical milling machine, CNC Lathe Machine and an Industrial 3D Scanner.

We have formed partnerships with various stakeholders of the start-up ecosystem, both national as well as International. Through these networks, we provide the best possible support to all the Start-ups incubated with CIBA in terms of Developing Business Plan, Marketing, Technology commercialization, financial management etc.
