Mission of Institution Innovation Council

  • To create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem.

Vision of Institution Innovation Council

  • Start-up supporting mechanism.
  • Prepare institute for Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements Framework (ARRIA).
  • Establish function ecosystem for scouting ideas and pre-incubation of ideas.
  • Develop better cognitive ability for technology students.

Objectives of Institution Innovation Council

  • To conduct various innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities prescribed by central MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC) in a time-bound fashion.
  • To identify and reward innovations and share success stories.
  • To organize periodic workshops/ seminars/ interactions with entrepreneurs, investors, professionals and create a mentor pool for student innovators.
  • To network with peers and national entrepreneurship development organizations.
  • To create an institution’s innovation portal to highlight innovative projects carried out by the institution’s faculty and students.
  • To organize hackathons, idea competitions, mini-challenges, business festivals, etc., with industries’ involvement.
  • To implement National Innovation and Start-up (NISP) policy in the institution.
  • To encourage faculty to undergo Innovation Ambassador Training program.
  • To enable faculty, students, and staff to avail the benefits of the Kalam Program for Intellectual Property  Literacy and Awareness (KAPILA).
  • To enable students and faculty to participate in National Innovation Contests (NIC) of IIC.
  • To enable students and faculty to participate in the Chhatra Vishvakarma award contest and Utkrisht Sansthan Vishwakarma award contest.
