GITP BOOTCAMPS AT PCCE

The Training and Placement cell (TPO) of Padre Conceicao college of Engineering (PCCE) in associating with Goa IT Professional (GITP) organized a Boot camp for the third year students of PCCE from the branches of Electronics, Computers and IT engineering on 11th September 2018. The Session was for the engineering students to apprise them about the current state of the industry and provide suggestions for a successful career. A presentation was delivered by GITP members which included Current trends in IT industry ,Expectations of industry from students, IT landscape in Goa and Suggestions on how to go about their research and final year projects. The event was well attended by students and many engineering faculty also attended the session and interacted with the invited guests. The Q & A session had amazing questions which were raised by the students and faculty and they were equally well answered by all the invited company officials. The guest invited were: Ms. Sangeeta Naik, Executive Editor, Digital Goa; Mr. Inacio Fernandes, Founder CEO, Criador Solutions; Yash Ganthe, Software Architect, Persistent System Limited; Mr. Ivo Costa, Technical Project Manager, Zettabyte Pte. Limited and PCCE’s own BE Computer student cum founder of a startup (hexcoderz), Mr. Ashley Dsouza. Prof Niyan Marchon, Associate Professor, Electronics and Telecommunications dept and the head of the TPO delivered the vote of thanks. The college Newsline was also released by the guests at the event.
