Workshop on Software Testing

The Student Unit of Information Technology (SUIT) organized a hands-on Software Testing workshop on 24th January 2024. The four-hour interactive session was held in the
CC Laboratory and commenced at 10 AM.The session was conducted by Mr. Angelo Goves, an esteemed alumnus of PCCE, currently serving as a Testing Engineer at INFUSE. The hands-on session was exclusive to the third and final year students. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Shailendra Aswale, HoD of the I.T. Department, who presented the memento to the speakers.
The workshop delved into the fundamentals of Software Testing and its importance in Quality Assurance. The workshop explored into both manual and automation testing, with a particular focus on automation using Selenium and Python. The speaker engaged the audience by solving exercies, resolving numerous queries, providing participants with a tangible application of the concepts discussed. The event was coordinated by Asst. Professor Mr. Shaba Dessai and Asst. Professor Mr. Ameya Wadekar, Shivam Korgaonkar, Aafil Shaikh, Atharv Salgaonkar, Chetan Mestry, R.Varsha, P. Shamika and other SUIT members
