VEDANTA LIMITED , CODLI

The final year students of the Mechancial Department along with 2 faculty namely, Mr. Saeesh Verenkar and Mr. Dattaprakash Vernekar went for a field visit to Vedanta Limited at Codli on 15th March 2017. The students were given a brief introduction about the company by Mr. Joaquim D’Costa, Head – South Cluster, Vedanta Limited. This was followed by a visit to the mines where they were shown the entire mining process in detail. This was followed by a visit to the Maintenance Department where Mr. Nobel Dias, a PCCE Alumni explained in depth about all the machinery and their working. The students had an interactive discussion with the engineers at the mine.
