ENTREPRENEURSHIP BOOTCAMP BY GOA DEPARTMENT OF I.T

Over 200 students and faculty participated in the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp organized by the Goa Department of Information Technology at P.C.C.E. on 24th August 2018 in the college auditorium. The first speaker Mr. D.S. Prashant The next speaker Mr. Ankit Bansal, Member of Goa Start-up Cell highlighted the significance of the I.T. Start Up Policy, state efforts and the impact it could have on Goa. The policy targets to make Goa the most preferred destination for investors in the sectors of IT, Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) and Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) that will lead to inclusive growth and employment generation. Entrepreneurs Mr. Rohin Parkar (MRINQ Technologies) and Ms. Suvarna Surlakar (Codewell Computers) spoke about their individual journeys, motivating the students with emphasis on time-tested entrepreneurial principles of undying passion, unfailing vision and unrelenting determination. Certificates were distributed to all participating students. The event was jointed coordinated by the departments of Computer Engineering and Information Technology. Mrs. Anusha Pai, HOD of Computer Engineering welcomed the gathering and Mrs. Razia Sardinha, HOD of I.T. Department proposed the vote of thanks. The event was compered by Ms. Ravina Quadros, Asst. Professor, I.T. Department.
