PCCE ORGANIZES INTERNSHIP WORKSHOP ON MACHINE LEARNING USING TENSOR FLOW

The Department of Computer Engineering and the Department of Information Technology organized a 2 week internship workshop in association with Earnestek on Machine Learning using Tensor Flow from 1st to 12th July 2019. A total of 55 students from the third year and final year participated in the workshop. The trainers for the workshop were Mr. Shravan Hegde and Mr. Vibhav Kharangate.

During the workshop the students were introduced to Python, Machine Learning and Tensor Flow. The students also implemented Convolutional Neural Networks and Recurrent Neural Networks.

The workshop concluded with a Valedictory ceremony. The chief guest was Mr. Ruturaj Vaidya. Mr Vaidya, a PCCE alumnus is a budding entrepreneur and the founder of S-Elite Engineers. The function was attended by Dr. Mahesh Parappagoudar, Principal, Assistant Professor Sufola Araujo,HOD of the Information Technology Department, faculty and the registered students. The event was compered by Assistant Professor Aditi Silveira.

The internship was coordinated by Assistant Professor Ameya Wadekar, Assistant Professor Shaba Dessai, Assistant Professor Sulana Rebelo and Assistant Professor Derrick Nazareth.
