“Overview of Software Industry Expectations”
The Departments of Computer Engineering and Information Technology, Padre Conceicao College of Engineering organized a talk under PCCE ACM Student Chapter on 29th July 2019. A total of 44 ACM student chapter members attended this event.
Mr Ivo Costa, System Architect, Creative Capsule, Goa was the speaker for the event.
He introduced the Profile and Capabilities of ‘Creative Capsule’ – who they are, their locations, their clients, the awards they have received, their offerings, their capabilities, their industry experience, and the projects that they have completed. He shared his knowledge on: the types of roles in the software industry, Tech Stacks, Processes, and how a student can build a profile. He explained the quality needed for each role in the software industry. He introduced various Tech Stacks, programming languages, and learning platforms. He also explained the agile software development process.
The event was coordinated by Asst. Professor Siddesh Savant and Asst. Professor Cassandra Fernandes from the Information Technology and Computer Departments respectively.
