PCCE IS AWARDED THE BEST COLLEGE FOR INTERNSHIPS AT THE AICTE HEAD QUARTERS IN NEW DELHI

On 25^th August 2019 at the AICTE Headquarters , New Delhi  , Padre Conceicao College of Engineering was awarded the BEST college in Goa for providing Internships in coordination with Internshala – the world’s largest internship platform. Dr Mahesh Parappagoudar , Principal , PCCE and Dr Niyan Marchon, Associate Professor , Electronics and Head of the Training and Placement office , PCCE received the award from the hands of Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman – AICTE, Dr. MP Poonia, Vice Chairman, AICTE and Mr. Sarvesh , Founder and CEO, Internshala.

Internshala is an internship and online training platform, based out of Gurgaon, India. Founded by Sarvesh Agrawal, an IIT Madras alumnus, in 2010, the website helps students find internships with organisations in India.  On 25^th August marked the Internship Day which showcases the importance of internships and the positive impact internships create on the overall employability of students. Every college who connected with Internshala were provided with dedicated internship support during the summer period. Dr Niyan Marchon and his TPO team connected to all the PCCE Engineering students and provided maximum internships among all the Engineering colleges and other general colleges in Goa. The AICTE Internshala team congratulated the PCCE team and hoped to strengthen the connect to provide 100% internships to all its college students in 2020.
