MSME AWARENESS PROGRAM HELD AT PCCE ON 11TH FEBRUARY 2020
The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in association with Padre Conceicao College of Engineering (PCCE) and Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration (CIBA) organized an awareness program on schemes of entrepreneurial and managerial development of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) through incubators. MSME is a branch of the Government of India and the apex executive body for the formulation and administration of rules, regulations and laws relating to micro, small and medium enterprises in India.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. A. R. Gokhe (Director of MSME, Goa), Mr. P. P. Kulkarni (Assistant Director of MSME, Goa) and Dr. Mahesh Parappagoudar (Principal of PCCE). The dignitaries addressed the students and encouraged them to actively participate in this awareness program.
The first speaker of the day was Mr. Sudhir Shetty who is the founder of Espressotive (a digital marketing company) and Skilltune (skill based training firm). Mr. Shetty also has an experience of over 11 years in the IT industry as a software engineer. He engaged the students in the challenges and benefits of entrepreneurship, whilst also sharing his own entrepreneurial journey.
The second session was conducted by Mr. P. P. Kulkarni (Assistant Director of MSME, Goa). He enlightened the students of the various schemes, infrastructure and financial support available for budding entrepreneurs in the Micro, small and medium enterprises. The event ended with lunch for speakers, students and the organizers.
