ETC IN ASSOCIATION WITH TELCOCRATS TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD., PUNJAB CONDUCTS A 3 DAY WORKSHOP ON TELECOMMUNICATION AND LATEST TECHNOLOGIES
The department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Verna Goa organized a 3 day workshop on “Telecommunication and latest technologies” in collaboration with Telcocrats Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Punjab, who has partnered with the Government of India. This workshop was held from 27th January to 29th January 2020 at PCCE and was attended by 65 students of TE ETC.
The trainers for the workshop were Mr. Aayush Gautam , who is specialized in RF and Telecommunication and Mr. Satyaprakash Chauhan, who is specialized in IoT and Robotics. The students were introduced to Telecommunication and Atoll application with hands on session on the Atoll application. They were also introduced to optical fiber communication and its testing and splicing methods. In summary the students benefited from the workshop for the following points:
- Telecom training on RF SURVEY & RADIO PLANNING
- Workshop on ANTENNA PLANNING for 2G/3G & 4G using industrial Software.
- OPTICAL FIBRE COMMUNICATION and the tools used in them.
- PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENTS SESSIONS & making students aware of the Requirements in INDUSTRY.
On the last day, the students were evaluated based on MCQ online test followed by viva. The workshop served a great platform for students for understanding industrial standards and broadened their minds towards the new technologies and challenges of industry in the field of telecommunication.
