CONGRESS ON RESEARCH IN ENGINEERING, SCIENCE, AND MANAGEMENT (CRESM22)
As a part of its silver jubilee celebrations, Padre Conceicao College of Engineering (PCCE) in collaboration with Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS) of India is proud to host the Congress on Research, Engineering, Science, and Management on 10th March. The CRESM 2022 aims to bring the researchers, academicians, industry, and government personnel together to share and discuss the various aspects of Engineering, Science and Management.
The conference started with the address by Rev. Fr. Agnelo Gomes, Director of Agnel Technical Education. Fr. Agnelo Gomes traced the history of the establishment of educational institutions and provided an overview of the work done at Agnel Technical Education Complex at Verna. He also spoke about the silver jubilee anniversary celebrations of PCCE.
Shailesh Khanolkar, General Chair, CRESM22 briefed the audience regarding the ubiquitous nature of Soft Computing Techniques and their applications in the domain of Engineering, Science, and Management.
Dr. Jagdish Chand Bansal spoke about the activities of the Soft Computing Research Society of India. He also announced that the 2nd International Conference on Advances in Computing and Intelligent Systems will be held at PCCE in September.
Dr. Amar Kishor, faculty of Magadh University and Guest of Honour for the inaugural session of the conference appreciated the work done by Agnel Society in running an orphanage and host of other charitable activities.
The first keynote speaker was Dr. Amar Kishor and his session was on the topic “Multi-objective Optimization”. The second keynote session was conducted by the Chief Guest for the function, Dr. Swagatam Das, ISI Kolkata on the topic “ Machine Learning: An overview”.
The technical session was presided over by Dr. Adarsh Handa and assisted by Ms. Suffola Chagas Silva. Seven papers were presented in the offline mode while 30 papers were presented in the online mode.
The vote of thanks for the valedictory session was given by Ms. Louella Mesquita, Department of Computer Engineering. Ms. Mahi Itagi was the compere for the event.
