Second Year Mechanical Students visit IMS, Bogda

Second Year Mechanical Engineering Students went on a FIELD-VISIT to Institute of Maritime Studies Goa (IMS) on 2nd December 2021. They were accompanied by their teachers Asst. Professors Mr. Prasad Pawar and Mr. Pratik Sawardekar.
The students were given a talk on “Career as a Marine Engineer in Merchant Navy”. They were briefed on the challenges faced by marine engineers, eligibility criteria and selection process involved.
The session was followed by a tour of the IMS campus and demos by our PCCE alumni who are currently pursuing marine engineering. The students were also shown Ship Engines, Simulation Rooms and other advancements of technology in shipping.
