WORKSHOP ON DESIGN THINKING, CRITICAL THINKING AND INNOVATION DESIGN

Expert Resource Person: Anay Kamat, Director of Technology (Mobile), Srijan Technology.

Anay Kamat, Director of Technology (Mobile) provided an overview of the process of Design Thinking, critical thinking, and innovation design. He investigated the process of design and defined as the problem that the innovator is trying to solve. He gave the example of failure of the Nano car because of a failed marketing strategy. He gave the example of the failure of the Boeing plane as a design failure.

As a part of simulating design thinking, there were 3 activities conducted as a part of the workshop:

Activity 1: Identify the problem.

Activity 2: Creating a persona.

Activity 3: Creating a solution.

The workshop was attended by 40 students. It was well received with extensive interaction.
