No-code Entrepreneurship in the API economy by Dr. Mohammad Keyhani

The E-Cell of Padre Conceicao College of Engineering invited Dr. Mohammad Keyhani to conduct a session on “No-code Entrepreneurship in the API economy” on 22nd April at 08:30 pm on the online mode.

Dr. Keyhani is an Associate Professor and Area Chair in Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, Canada. He is Founder of DigitVibe.com and Maker of Entrepreneur Tools, a Business Advisor at Electrody.com and CriticareDx.com, and a David Rockefeller Fellow at the Trilateral Commission.

Dr. Keyhani initially thought that he would need to hire software engineers and product development personnel for a startup. However, his mindset was entirely changed when he realized that he could so much on his own as a solopreneur without having to rely on a team. This was the motivation behind choosing the No-code Entrepreneur topic as it has empowered him and enabled to build multiple products. Most start-up founders who have a idea need to find a technical cofounder to progress in their ventures leading to “The Tyranny of Technology” problem. However, NoCode tools are an excellent source where software can be built with minimum or no coding.

Starting with the example of a tool that allowed him to make a model say “Dr. Mohammad Keyhani is the coolest entrepreneur”, Dr. Keyhani stepped the audience through various tools that can be used by those with little to no software knowledge to develop innovative products

The webinar was attended by 40 students. The webinar was interactive and appreciated by the students.
