Report on visit of PCCE students to INEX2022

The students of PCCE attended the India International Innovation and Invention Expo, (INEX) held at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao on the 18th of November.  The EXPO focused on international start-ups, industrial technologies, technology transfer and promotion in the Indian market. Delegates from over 30 countries presented their innovations at INEX 2022

The EXPO had exhibited projects from VIT-AP (Andhra Pradesh), MAGNIITY (Telangana),  DBCE (Goa), etc

VIT-AP University, Andhra Pradesh presented their application –  MAuthN, which provides multiplatform seamless password less authentication. They also exhibited Mukham which is a face recognition based attendance application that uses geofencing and anti spoof location, marking attendance of a user only if he/she is within the institution’s location range.

MAGNIITY from Hyderabad, India, a business that specialises in 3D printing, PCB design and Product Development had a wide array of product prototypes to display. Some of them include Multi Depth Soil Moisture Sensor, a Hy-Drip Sensor, a tool to detect levels of alcohol content and drowsiness among drivers, Drone based applications for delivery, A  portable water heater cum cooler and an automated faucet that can eject water, handwash as well as a stream of hot dry air.Don Bosco College Of Engineering, Fatorda, Goa had their project –  “NeuralKissan” on exhibition. NeuralKissan aims to automate the process of growing plants optimally in enclosed environments by making use of sensors, constant monitoring and neural networks to check and regulate soil moisture, levels of light, aeration levels, etc, and also detects and cure diseases among plants. PCCE was represented at INEX by our faculty members, Ma’am Sharlaine Nicole Monteiro and Sir Satish Gangavati along with 58 students. The visit to INEX 2022 was coordinated by ECell, RDCC, and the Electronics and Computer Engineering department of PCCE.

We thank Goa State Innovation Council (GSIC) for inviting us to the EXPO. It was an insightful experience to our students, providing them with enriching knowledge on product design and prototyping.
