Introduction to Blockchain and Smart Contracts
The ACM PCCE Student Chapter organised a workshop on the topic “Introduction to Blockchain and Smart Contracts” at Padre Conceicao College Of Engineering, Goa.The Workshop was held on 24th March 2023.The workshop was conducted from 10 am – 12 pm by Elio Jordan Lopes, the Co-founder/ CEO of IntoTheVerse Inc.The students were assembles in Comp Lab 2.The speaker was introduced by Kripa (Chairperson of ACM student chapter).The speaker was presented with a bouquet of flowers by Shreya (Vice Chair of ACM student chapter).
The speaker shared his extensive knowledge and expertise on block chain technology and smart contracts to the students.He spoke about his own projects and games that he developed through with cryptocurrency can be earned.
Dummy Programs were used to show how the exchange of cryptocurrency work and how smart contracts are executed. At the end of the workshop, the speaker was open to questions based on the workshop.
To conclude the workshop, Vote of Thanks was given by Siya (Treasurer of ACM student chapter) and the speaker proceeded to take a Group Photo with all the students and the ACM PCCE Student Chapter & Faculty.
