Introduction to Artificial Intelligence & Applications of AI in Daily Life

The workshop was organized by the Electronics and Computer Association of Students (EXACTAS) under AARUSH International Industry-Academia Symposium; and attracted 70 participants from diverse backgrounds, including students, professionals, and AI enthusiasts. It was a full-day event, combining informative lectures by Dr. Amey Pangankar with hands-on sessions and collaborative project work.

Keynote Address by the Speaker:

Dr. Amey Pangankar delivered an insightful keynote address, providing an overview of AI technologies, their impact on various industries, and the importance of AI in website development and digital marketing. Participants received an in-depth introduction to AI technologies, including machine learning, SEO, AI ethics and the development of AI in India. Dr. Amey also emphasized real-world applications through his research and experiences.

AI-Powered Website Building:

Participants were grouped in teams of 10 each and engaged in brainstorming sessions to create AI-powered website projects. The facilitators encouraged them to think creatively about how AI could enhance user experiences.This collaborative session included using popular AI tools such as Chat-GPT, Rytr, Brandcrowd and Steve. Participants gained hands-on experience in creating and prompting AI models. Dr. Amey and other facilitators guided the teams through the process of integrating AI features into their website projects. Participants learned how to utilize AI for content generation, recommendation systems and advertisements.

The workshop concluded with each group presenting their AI-enhanced website projects which were evaluated based on their creativity, functionality, and effective integration of AI technologies.

Outcomes and Achievements:

Participants left the workshop with a strong foundation in AI tools and their practical applications in website development. They gained hands-on experience in developing innovative, AI-enhanced website prototypes while showcasing their newfound skills. The workshop fostered networking opportunities and encouraged collaboration among participants.

The hands-on AI Workshop with Dr. Amey as the speaker was a highly successful and engaging event that empowered participants to implement AI in their daily life and provided them with a valuable opportunity to explore the potential of AI technologies. This workshop serves as a model for future AI education events, emphasizing the significance of practical application alongside theoretical knowledge.
