BOOTCAMP ORGANISED BY GOA STATE INNOVATION COUNCIL
A BOOTCAMP on Conducting Awareness Camps for topics related to Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship was held on 24th July 2018 at 2pm.The program began with a talk by Shri. Sudip Faldesai who introduced the students to The Goa State Innovation Council, which aids all people looking for help with their ideas and start-ups.
He was followed by Shri. K. D. Bhatt who gave an enlightening presentation on how students can think out of the box and learn to be more productive. This session was very interactive and highly informative, comprising of several techniques for creative thinking.The last speaker for the evening was Shri Maxwell Rodrigues who shared with the students his own journey from student to entrepreneur. His story was fascinating, challenging and incredibly inspiring.
We then had Shri Tushar Sawant from CIBA speak to the students about the various government schemes that are currently present to financially aid entrepreneurs to begin their start-ups. During this event the new Ecell committee members for the academic year 2018-19 were inducted. The members of the Ecell council were then sworn in by oath and inducted by Mrs. Alzira Xavier, Assistant Professor and E-Cell Faculty In-Charge. The President of the Ecell, Mr. Biswas Tiwari then read out all the events to be conducted by the Ecell this academic year, and introduced the Facebook page for the club – PCCE Ecell.
The program ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. Niyan Marchon, Associate Professor and E-Cell Faculty In-Charge. This program was attended by the second year IT and second year ETC students. The compere for the evening was Mr. Dave Paiva from BE-ETC.
