MITHYA 2018

PCCE’s annual cultural event Mithya 2018 was held from 11th to 13th of April 2018.

Mithya 2018 was declared open by the chief guest Rev. Fr. Peter Cardozo, Director of Pilar Music Academy in the presence of Rev. Fr Anthony Castello, Director of Agnel Technical Education Complex, Assistant Director Rev. Fr Seby Rodrigues and Principal Dr Mahesh Parappagoudar. Also present at the function were heads of departments, staff and students.

Mithya 2018 had very exciting events for staff and students. The staff teamed up with students for events like cake décor competition and antakshari competition.

The events were judged by professionals in their respective field.

All departments competed with each other to win this year’s crown of champions, but it was the Mechanical department who conquered it all on the final day. Information Technology, ETC and Computer, won the second, third and fourth places respectively.

The events were co-ordinated by the following faculty members – Mr. Amey Wadekar, IT department, Ms. Shona Afonso, Computer department, Ms. Avita Lotliker, ETC department and Mr. Marvin Fernandes, Mechanical department.

The overall faculty co-coordinator for MITHIYA 2018 was Ms. Alzira Xavier.
