Internal Round of Smart India Hackathon 2022

Smart India Hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. It is the world’s biggest open platform for the innovators or entrepreneurs of tomorrow to start today towards a smarter India.

Padre Conceicao College of Engineering was pleased to organize an internal Institute Level Hackathon to shortlist teams to participate in this competition. The hackathon was open to students of all years and branches. The team size was 6 with 1 compulsory girl team member. Inter-disciplinary representation in the team was permitted.

The internal Institute Level Hackathon was held on 22^nd March 2022, 3:00 pm in the Computing Center Lab. A total of 6 teams competed in this event. The judges for the event were Mr. Shailesh Khanolkar ,Associate Professor- Dept. of Electronics and Telecommunication,PCCE, Mr. Sanjay Mulvi, Head-Seed Fund & Incubation, CIBA, Mr. Joshua Fernandes,Software Engineer,Axelerant Technologies.All the judges were very impressed with the ideas presented by the students. One of the judges was very impressed with one of the project that he decided to fund it.

The event was organized by Ms. Ravina Quadros, Assistant Professor from the Dept. of Information Technology & SPOC-SIH 2022.
