COMP-IT Students visit Persistent Systems Verna
Third year students of the departments of Computer Engineering and Information Technology were privileged to visit Persistent Systems, Verna, on 27th May 2022. The field-trip was coordinated by Ms. Siddhi Raikar, Executive HR at Persistent Systems and Ms. Razia Sardinha, PCCE Training and Placement Officer.
After a warm welcome with refreshments, our students were addressed by Mr. Ranjit Naik, Senior Engineering Partner at Persistent Systems. Mr. Ranjit presented the inspiring history, products and partners of Persistent Systems worldwide.
Ms. Nadia Fernandes, People Relationship Manager at Persistent Systems gave the students great insights on the benefits of being a Persistent Systems employee, emphasizing on the work-life balance, career opportunities, culture and values.
There was also a QA session and the students were excited to interact with Mr. Durgadas Kamath, Architect at Persistent Systems, and our esteemed alumnus from the Information Technology Department – PCCE, Goa.
Mr. Vincent Paul Gracias Flor, Associate General Manager of Administration briefed the PCCE delegation on the Persistent Systems Infrastructure and gave them a tour of the company’s campus and facilities.
The students were accompanied by Placement Coordinators for Computer and IT departments Ms. Fiona Coutinho and Ms. Okstynn Rodrigues, along with Ms. Gauri Barve, Class Teacher of Third Year Computer Engg.
Padre Conceicao College of Engineering heartily thanks Persistent Systems for the warm welcome and wonderfully planned sessions. It was a memorable field-visit for our third-year students and faculty.
