Cloud Computing Workshop
The P.C.C.E. ACM Student Chapter organized an insightful workshop on Cloud Computing on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The session was conducted at 11:00 AM in Computer Lab 2 at Padre Conceicao College of Engineering (P.C.C.E.) and aimed to introduce students to foundational concepts in cloud technology.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sherwin Fernandes, Frontend Web Developer at Numino Labs Private Ltd., who shared valuable insights into the basics of AWS Cloud. He elaborated on key features such as AWS Lambda, Overwatch, and other fundamental tools, helping students understand how cloud platforms function in real-world applications.
The participants comprised Third Year Computer Engineering students, and the session was hosted and coordinated by Mr. Sreyash Naik, Vice President of the ACM P.C.C.E. Student Chapter. The workshop was highly appreciated by the attendees for its clarity, relevance, and practical approach.
As a gesture of gratitude, a token of appreciation was presented to the speaker by Dr. Louella Colaco. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Rounak Naik, President of the ACM P.C.C.E. Student Chapter, acknowledging everyone involved in making the event a success. The faculty coordinators for the event were Dr. Louella M. Colaco and Ms. Meghana Pai Kane.
