MITHYA 2025

Venue: Padre Conceicao College of Engineering
“MITHYA 2025,” the annual cultural festival of Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, unfolded from 3rd to 5th April 2025. Themed as “The Masquerade,”
The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of Shri Vijay Sardesai, Member of the Goa Legislative Assembly Fatorda, Goa as our chief guest and Mr. Nathan Mendes (Indian rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer) as our guest of honour in the presence of Rev. Fr. Agnelo Gomes, Director of Agnel Technical Education Complex, Prof. Mahesh Parappagoudar, Principal of PCCE, and Heads of Department.
During this event, our four departments enthusiastically compete in a range of competitions like fashion show, group dance, singing, street play, reels making, video wars, battle of bands etc.as they vie for the coveted ‘Mithya Championship’.
The Electronics and computer department emerged victorious, clinching the Mithya 2025 Trophy. Mr. Keegan Barreto and Miss Kendriya Fernandes secured the titles of Mr. PCCE and Miss. PCCE, respectively.
“Mithya 2025” was made possible due to the dedicated and untiring efforts of our committee –The Cultural Committee comprised of Dr. Sufola Araujo, Mr. Gaurak Phaldessai , Ms. Komal Paroolkar, Ms. Megha Ainapurkar Ms. Andrea D’souza and Mr. Sanjeet Kanekar.
The Students’ Council, with Mr. Sufiyan Munshi , serving as the General Secretary Miss. Shayne Shayne Cardozo as the Cultural Secretary, Mr, Rudr Nadkarni as the Sports Secretary, Miss Marisha Almeida as Magazine Secretary, Miss Avishi Sharma, as Ladies Representative and Mr. Varad Kerkar as University Faculty Representative.
“Mithya ” related to our theme “the masquerade”, as both invite a sense of mystery, and the blending of reality with fantasy. It offered all participants the chance to stretch their creativity, and immerse themselves in a world where nothing is impossible.
