Hands-On Arduino Workshop for Mechanical students

The Robotics, Automation, and Coding Engineers (RACE) Club organized and conducted an Arduino workshop for the Mechanical Engineering students of third and first years on September 27, 2025, at PCCE.

The workshop commenced at 9:30 am in EComp Lab 5, with the Assistant Professor Mr. Aditya Das, addressing the students about the club and introducing them to the objectives of the day’s workshop.

The session covered both theoretical concepts and hands-on practical training, conducted by the RACE Club members. They played a key role in guiding their peers through programming the Arduino and integrating it with a variety of modules and sensors, including an ultrasonic sensors, LDRs, flame sensors, motion sensors, and DC motors.

Refreshments were provided by the COSMOS of Mechanical department at 11:30 am break, ensuring an engaging and comfortable learning environment for all participants.

The workshop received an enthusiastic response from the students and was deemed a great success. Based on this positive outcome, the RACE Club plans to organize an advanced-level Arduino workshop shortly.
