ISHRAE

The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. ISHRAE today has more than 12,000 HVAC&R professionals as members and additionally there are 7,500 Student-members. ISHRAE operates from 41 Chapters and sub Chapters spread all over India, with HQ in Delhi. It is led by a team of elected officers, who are members of the Society, working on a voluntary basis, and collectively called the Board of Governors.

COSME

The Consortium of Students of Mechanical Engineering popularly referred to as COSME is the official student organization of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, PCCE. This student body is responsible for the conduct of all activities in the department and organises various events such as technical guest lectures, workshops, competitions and field trips to industries for the students of the department of Mechanical Engineering.

With over 200+ student members, this group enables students to build teamwork and leadership skills networking with other students, faculty and industry personnel. The goal is to promote  students interests in technological areas of Mechanical Engineering by connecting classroom learning with real-life experiences.

The student committee is mentored by experienced faculty members and initiatives are taken up to ensure the professional development of every student.
