Industrial Visit Report: Smartlink Holdings Ltd.

Students from SE Computer A1, Padre Conceicao College of Engineering (PCCE), Goa, visited Smartlink Holdings Ltd., located at Verna Industrial Estate, Goa, as part of an industrial visit. The objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to industrial operations and help them understand the real-world application of theoretical concepts learned in the classroom.

Smartlink Holdings Ltd. is a well-established Indian company known for its IT networking products and electronics manufacturing. With over three decades of experience in the industry, the company is listed on both the BSE and NSE stock exchanges.

The visit was conducted on 4th February 2026 and was organized by the college faculty. Upon arrival, company officials gave the students a brief introduction to Smartlink’s product range and manufacturing processes. They explained the overall workflow followed within the plant and emphasized the importance of quality, precision, and coordination in the production of networking products.

During the visit, the students toured the assembly and production areas, where networking devices such as routers, switches, and communication equipment are manufactured. The officials explained how various systems are used in the preparation and testing of these products. The students also observed the testing zones, where each unit undergoes thorough quality and performance checks. This helped them understand the significance of quality control and the systematic workflows maintained in an industrial environment.

Additionally, the students observed skilled personnel examining and testing circuit boards and individual components using specialized equipment before approving them for final assembly. This interaction provided valuable insights into how industry professionals coordinate their efforts to maintain high standards of efficiency and product quality.
