As part of the First-Year Induction Programme for CSE (AI & ML), a series of informative and interactive sessions were conducted for the newly admitted students from 3rd to 14th August 2026. The programme began with a “Know Your Department” session, followed by an AI Skills Workshop and a session on QNX Real-Time Operating System, providing students with an introduction to the department, academic journey, emerging technologies, and career opportunities. On 10th and 11th August, students participated in hands-on sessions on Artificial Intelligence and Emerging AI Tools conducted by Wallace Scott, Co-Founder of Bridgeye, along with a Drone Sensitization Programme conducted by the PCCE Drone Club. These sessions introduced students to AI tools, AI-assisted development, drone technology, flight simulation, and real-world applications.

The induction programme concluded on 14th August 2026 with an Insights from Alumni session by Ms. Neha Sinai Bangui and Mr. Vedanth Bandodkar, followed by a Music and Activities session featuring games, debates, and musical performances. Overall, the programme provided students with valuable exposure to academics, emerging technologies, career opportunities, and extracurricular activities.
