Dr Niyan Marchon , rendered assistance and guidance to a IX std student from Fr. Agnel Multipurpoe High school, Verna, Master Valentinho Fernandes by recommending strategies and advice to a IOT based project – ‘Smart Home Automation’ and gave him the confidence to face the presentation of the project at the ‘All state level Science project contest’ at Mumbai in January 2019
Ms. Suffola Chagas Silva, Nodal Officer, Gender Champions, Padre Conceicao College of Engineering was awarded a trophy for her outstanding contributions towards creating awareness of gender equality in January 2019. She participated in a number of workshops, training and encouraged students to attend events related to women empowerment and gender sensitization.She was supported by Sana Khatib and Aryan Pednekar , Gender chamions of PCCE from the IT Department and Computer Engg. dept. respectively and Shailesh Khanolkar, Chairman – SAC.
Mrs. Alzira Xavier, Assistant Professor and Assitant TPO was invited as the Chief Guest at the inaugural function of the Science Exhibition organized by Vidya Vikas Academy ,Senior Secondary Section. Mrs. Alzira Xavier delivered a keynote address on Significance of innovation and interdependence of sciences.

Ms. Mahi Itagi secured Second rank in M.Tech (Digital Electronics) to the college (SDMCET, Dharwad) under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
Ms. Mahi Itagi was Selected as “PG Teaching Assistant” under TEQIP II (Technical Education Quality Improvement Program) during PG Semester IV.
Ms. Mahi Itagi was Awarded “Certificate of Appreciation” for working as the Department main coordinator during “INSIGNIA 2013”, a National level techno-cultural mega fest held at SDMCET, Dharwad.
