ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL (E-CELL)
VISION
To create an entrepreneurial ecosystem to provide a launchpad for faculty, students, staff, alumni, individuals with innovative mindsets and ideas.
MISSION
To enable seamless interaction between students, faculty, staff, alumni, aspiring, and existing entrepreneurs, mentors, angel investors, venture capitalists, funding bodies, and industry.
OBJECTIVES
- To enable students, faculty, and staff to pursue entrepreneurship.
- To provide incubation facilities to students, faculty, staff, and alumni in collaboration with the Centre for Business Incubation and Acceleration (CIBA).
- Mentoring students start-up and hand holding them till they have a sustainable start-up.
- To conduct annual flagship business event BIGG LEAP of Padre Conceicao College of Engineering.
- To conduct activities related to Institution Innovation Council (IIC) calendar.
- Organizing focused workshops on Design Thinking, Idea Generation, Business Model Canvas, Business Plan Pitch-deck from resource person who has vast experience in entrepreneurial teaching.
- To enable interaction with successful entrepreneurs.
- To interact with Goa State Innovation Council (GSIC) and Goa Technology Association (GTA).
- To enable students’ participation in business festivals at the local, national and international levels.
- To conduct various activities such as Start-up week, Entrepreneurship week, Innovation challenge, Pitching ideas.
- Conduct conferences related to Entrepreneurship and Start-up.
