PCCE TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL
Padre Conceicao College of Engineering has a dedicated and vibrant Training and Placement Cell (TPC) that facilitates student placements by maintaining strong connections with companies for on and off-campus recruitment drives, internships and projects. The cell actively organizes training and career guidance programmes for the students to prepare them for placement drives and competitive exams. The TPC collaborates with companies to conduct hands-on workshops, guest lectures, hackathons, field trips, panel discussions etc. in order to make the students adept to Industry needs.
OBJECTIVES OF P.C.C.E TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL
- To organize on and off-campus recruitment drives, and assist students in securing placements in reputed companies
- To identify the needs and expectations of companies and prepare students for recruitment.
- To provide students with industry exposure through internships, guest lectures, workshops, job fairs and field trips.
- To create awareness and mentor students on the different career options and avenues for higher studies.
TRAINING AND PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES
- Connecting with companies and facilitating recruitment drives.
- Organizing programming and other technical workshops to prepare students for placements.
- Providing aptitude training in collaboration with professional trainers like MaxXcel, T.I.M.E. etc.
- Arranging communication skills, soft-skills and personality development workshops.
- Providing guidance for group discussions and interviews.
- Arranging internships, apprenticeships and field-visits for industry exposure.
- Coordinating AICTE-supported initiatives like Internshala, NEAT, CII etc.
- Managing MOUs to strengthen Industry-Academia interaction.
- Collaborating with PCCE IIC, RDCC and Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration, Verna (CIBA) to conduct job fairs, industry-academia symposia “Aarush”, competitions etc.
- Fostering meaningful relationships with alumni.
